Insights tab

The Insights tab is the first tab on the Reports page in Gluten Hero. It surfaces what the underlying receipts add up to: the GF premium, the average extra per item, the projected annual GF premium based on history so far, and the category breakdown of where the premium concentrates.

Four cards and three charts. The cards. GF vs. regular cost ratio (across the comparable basket). Average extra per item. Projected annual GF premium (or "on pace this month" if the scope toggle is on This Month). Health Investment (the same dollar total framed as health spending rather than excess cost, no separate calculation). The charts. Monthly cost comparison as grouped bars. Where the premium concentrates by category as horizontal bars. Year-to-date cumulative with the AGI floor as a reference line.

The Insights cards gate on honest minimums. Cards do not show until the underlying sample is large enough to mean something. The ratio card needs three comparable items. The average-per-item card needs three distinct receipts. The projection card needs 21 days of history. Below the floors, the cards render a two-line earned-plus-unlock state with action-shaped copy ("Log GF items across at least 3 shopping trips") rather than a blank "no data" state. The gating exists so a brand-new account never sees a number the app made up.

The scope toggle at the top of the tab is This Month or All Time. The year-to-date chart is always year-scoped regardless of toggle, because the AGI floor resets every tax year. In This Month scope a "You are here" reference dot appears at today's cumulative position on the year-to-date chart.
